Most Effective Carbonated Face Mask

Carbonated face mask is an amazing homemade mask. You only need 5 minutes to prepare these masks. And this mask has different skin benefits. In the past, I was really trying hard to find the idea face mask. I used to read all the labels of those commercial products to find the healthiest option. But those days are over. Now, I can make my own carbonated face mask.

Benefits of Carbonated Face Mask

This mask is cheap. You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars on beauty products. Instead, all you need it some simple ingredients that are already in your kitchen. Also, carbonate is an amazing cleaner. It will clean all your pores with peeling power.

Another benefit of this amazing ingredient it that it will prevent acne. Since carbonate is a good peeling, it will remove the dead skin cells. This way, it will prevent formation of blackheads and acne. This peeling power also helps removing skin spots. When you combine carbonate with correct ingredients, you can fight against skin spots.

It has anti-septic and anti-inflammatory properties. When you regularly use one of these carbonated masks, you will start to see benefits in short time.

Carbonated Face Mask for Different Skin Types

Here, I have provided three recipes. One is for oily skin, one is for dry skin and the other one is for everyone. Every skin type requires special attention. What works for oily skin will not work for dry skin. We all know that. This is why I wanted to give you two different recipes.

Oily skins need an ingredient that will remove the excess oil on their face. On the other hand, sensitive skins generally need less peeling power. Peeling a sensitive skin might cause irritation. So, you need to be careful about which mask you apply on your face.

Also, I provided a third option for everyone. This mask will give your skin a healthier look. After applying one of these masks, always complete your skin care with a moisturiser. You also need to select your moisturiser for your skin type.

Carbonated Face Mask for Oily Skin

Ingredients

• 3 table spoons of carbonate (approx. 30 grams)
• 3 table spoons of carbonated water (approx. 30 mL)
• Juice of half a lemon
• 4 drops of olive oil, almond oil or lavender essential oil

Preparation

Add carbonate in a clean cup. Slowly add carbonated water to obtain a paste. When you have paste consistency, add lemon juice and essential oil in this mixture. You can use olive oil or almond oil instead of essential oil.

Apply this paste on your face with circular motions. Avoid eye and lip area. Wait for 20 minutes. Wash your face with warm water.

Carbonated Face Mask for Dry Skin

Ingredients

• 3 table spoons of carbonate (approx. 30 grams)
• 3 table spoons of carbonated water (approx. 30 mL)
• 1 table spoon of organic honey (approx. 25 gram)
• 4 drops of olive oil, almond oil or lavender essential oil

Preparation

Make a paste by using carbonate and carbonated water. Add organic honey and essential oil to this mixture. Combine all the ingredients.

Apply this mixture on your face with circular motions. Wait for 20 minutes. Wash your face with warm water.

Chamomile Carbonated Face Mask

Ingredients

• 1 bag of chamomile tea
• ½ cup of water (approx. 125 mL)
• 2 table spoons of oatmeal (approx. 20 grams)
• 1 table spoon of organic honey (approx. 25 gram)
• 2 table spoon of carbonate (approx. 20 gram)

Preparation

Prepare chamomile tea. Mash oatmeal or use a blender to obtain smaller pieces. Mix carbonate, organic honey and oatmeal in a cup. Slowly add chamomile tea in this mixture. You need to obtain a paste. If this mixture is liquid, you can add carbonate to increase the consistency.

Apply this mask with circular motions. Keep it on your face 20 minutes. Wash your face with warm water.
