Apply it directly to the affected area using your toothbrush or a similar tool. Alternatively, you might also want to explore using a toothpaste that’s already formulated with baking soda.

Reusing Tea Bags

Fond of drinking tea every so often? Since tea bags contain tannins, which have natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, you can use this to ward of pain and swelling in your wisdom tooth.

If you want to take advantage of the tea bags you’re drinking, the best way to go about this is brewing a cup of tea as you would and putting the cup with the teabag in it inside the fridge.

Be careful not to put any additives such as milk, cream, or sugar. Once it has significantly cooled down, take the tea bag and place this over where you’re experiencing wisdom tooth pain.

The cold tea bag, plus the tannins found in it, will help provide much-needed relief.
