This time I will share a two ingredient homemade toner for oily skin. Oily skin can be a huge problem. Generally, this type of skin prone to acne and blackheads. Also, oily skin will always shine but not in a good way.

For this reason, it is important to control the oil balance of your skin. Of course, you need to be careful about your diet. Some food might increase oil production. However, you can do something else. A natural homemade toner for oily skin will help you to control oil production.

Homemade Toner for Oil Skin Preparation

I hate mixing tons of ingredients to prepare a recipe. And I see that there are few recipes with only simple ingredients. So, I decided to prepare a homemade toner for oily skin recipe with only two ingredients. And these two are found at every home. While apple cider vinegar has anti-bacterial properties to clean your skin, green tea will make your pores smaller. Your skin will also look shiny but this time in a good way.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of green tea
  • 1/4 cup of raw apple cider vinegar

Preparation

This recipe is super easy to prepare. All you need to do is mix green tea and apple cider vinegar. You can use a jar or a spray bottle. After that, your homemade toner for oily skin is ready.

How to Use Homemade Toner?

You can use this amazing homemade toner for oily skin like a normal toner. Just pour the toner on a piece of cotton. You can use make-up remover cottons as well. And apply the toner on your face. This amazing green tea toner will clean your skin.

After cleaning your skin, apply your daily moisturiser. You can store this homemade toner in fridge for about 2 weeks. Applying the cold toner will also refresh your skin.

Can I Change Ingredients?

Well, this is DIY toner. So, you can add and change ingredients. I will give you an idea about how you can do that.

I love essential oils. And I love using these oils in different recipes. In case of this amazing toner, I want sense of freshness to increase. To do that, I will add lavender essential oil.

This amazing oil has soothing properties. Also, you can go for orange essential oil that balances oil production. This is good if you have excessively oily skin. Another option is lemon essential oil. This oil will help toning your skin.
