How to Make Crabtree and Evelyn Gardeners Hand Cream?

My mom loves gardening. It is amazing to see healthy and fresh vegetables. And, her vegetables are super delicious. I really love preparing a meal with them. But, there is one problem with gardening. My mom is suffering from extra dry hands. And what is more, sometimes she have scratches and cuts on her hands. Even though she is using thick gardener gloves to pick everything up and take care of the garden. So, today I decided to make my own gardeners hand cream with basic ingredients.

This DIY gardeners hand cream can be used as a daily skin care product as well. This recipe has extra moisturising components. Because this is what a gardener needs for her hands.

Also, I wanted to add extra healing property to my homemade hand cream recipe. This way, scars on mom’s hand can heal faster. So, this amazing DIY cosmetics recipe is a strong moisturiser and healer.

You can easily prepare it and use it. The ingredients are super easy to find. You can find most of them in your local shop. Or, you can easily order online.

Crabtree and Evelyn Gardeners Hand Cream Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of sweet almond Oil
  • 2 Table spoons of coconut oil
  • 2 Table spoons of olive oil
  • 3 Table spoons of grated beeswax
  • 30-35 drops of essential lavender oil*
*You can also use another essential oil you like. For example, essential rose oil is one of the best ingredients for hand creams. But, since we are making a gardeners hand cream to sooth your skin, lavender essential oil is a better choice.

Crabtree and Evelyn Gardeners Hand Cream Preparation

DIY: Crabtree and Evelyn Gardeners Hand Cream

1

Add sweet almond oil, coconut oil, and olive oil in a pan.

2

Place the pan on medium heat.

3

Wait until all oils melt and combine with each other.

4

Take the pan from the stove and add grated beeswax.

5

Mix all the ingredients.

6

Place the pan in the fridge and wait for 5 or 10 minutes. This way the mixture will cool down.

7

Add essential lavender oil to the mixture and combine all the ingredients.

8

Pour the hand cream in a clean container.

This amazing homemade gardeners hand cream will work its miracle from the first day. You can use the hand cream as your daily skin care routine.

Also, when you are preparing the recipe, you can make changes. With these changes, your cream will have the ideal consistency you want.

Sometimes the mixture can be a bit liquid. So, there is something you can do to prevent this situation. Instead of 3 table spoons of beeswax, you can use 4 table spoons of beeswax.

You can keep this mixture at room temperature for 1 month. But when you use these ratios, the cream will end in 2 weeks. Also, you can increase the amount of ingredients to make a larger batch. I always love using fresh cream. So, this DIY skin care product recipe can be used for at most 2 weeks.
