How to Make Homemade Healing Cream?

Do you have burns or cuts? And would you like to heal them faster than their usual healing speed? This amazing homemade healing cream recipe will give you what you want.

If you are clumsy like me, you are probably having cuts and bruises all the time. Generally, it will take one or two weeks for these scars to completely heal. And during healing, there still can be scars and marks. But not anymore.

This natural DIY healing cream will speed up your healing process and help to reduce the scars and marks during healing. Before checking my homemade healing cream, I would like to say couple of word about the main ingredients of the cream: olive oil.

We all know amazing moisturising effects of coconut oil. So, this time, I will focus on benefits of olive oil. This oil has been commonly used in beauty sector as well as kitchen. And olive oil can help regenerating your skin. For that reason, it has become the number of ingredient of most of the homemade beauty products.

For this homemade healing cream, I will also use olive oil. The results will surprise you. Olive oil and other ingredients work their magic. Let’s see ingredients and preparation steps of this natural homemade healing cream.

Homemade Healing Cream Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup of dried lavender
  • 1/3 cup of dried calendula
  • 4 table spoon of beeswax pellets
  • 1 table spoon of honey (optional)
  • 10 drops of essential tea tree oil
  • 5 drops of essential lavender oil

Homemade Healing Cream Preparation:

Take a pan and fill it with water.

Place the pan on the stove and heat the water in medium or high heat.

Add coconut oil and olive oil in a bowl.

Place this bowl on the pan with water and melt coconut oil.

When coconut oil melts, add dried lavender and dried calendula to the mixture.

Cook all these ingredients for approximately 30 minutes in the pan. Meanwhile, the heat should be low to avoid burning your ingredients.

After 30 minutes period, filter this mixture to another bowl. You can use regular coffee filter or cloth for this process.

Add beeswax to a bowl and place it on the pan.

Wait for the beeswax to melt.

Add essential lavender oil and essential tea tree oil in honey.

Add this mixture to the filtered mixture.

Mix all the ingredients to obtain homogenous mixture.

Wait for 5 to 10 minutes for the mixture to cool down and have a solid form.

Pour the mixture in a clean container (you can use a jar or any other type container).

Enjoy your homemade healing cream.


You can use this amazing homemade healing cream any time you want. You can store this amazing healing cream for 12 months at room temperature. You will like this cream so much that you can’t stop using it.
