Recently, I was having trouble with my dry skin. Especially my arms and legs were extremely dry. And this really made me uncomfortable. So, I came up with this idea; homemade lotion bars. I love using body lotions with different smells.
Most of the time, I am making my own homemade body lotion recipes. Those trials were pretty successful. This gave me courage and I started to search for different homemade lotion bar recipes to combine. Below, I will give you the recipe I tried and liked very much.
The key ingredient of this recipe is coconut oil and Shea butter. These two could be the perfect duo of homemade cosmetic products. I am including them almost in all my homemade recipes. And the results are always amazing.
Since this recipe will be body lotion, I want it to smell nice. I selected essential lavender oil in the homemade lotion bars recipe. But, you can use another essential oil like germanium or rose. This will only change the smell of your body lotion. What is more, I wanted to improvise a bit. And I shaped my body lotion and made lotion bars. This was the fun part of all preparation. You can use a silicon mould you like to shape your own body lotion.
