As you can guess, there are tons of recipes. And, it is quite hard to decide with homemade mascara recipe is more natural. Before starting with our totally natural and super effective DIY mascara, let’s first look at what the mascara of cosmetic brands contains.
First, many of the cosmetics firm add iron oxide pigment. This pigment can be harmful for your eyelashes. Also, some of the commercial mascara may have ethanolamine or some other types of this substance. The most harmful ingredient in the commercial mascara is without any doubt paraben.
I know that like me, most you care to choose products that are paraben free. But, if you are using commercial products, it may be hard to find make-up products without paraben. And if you find such products, they may be out of your budget.
So, you don’t need to worry anymore. Today, I will give you the natural homemade mascara recipes. When you follow this recipe, you will have fuller eyelashes with natural ingredients.
The amounts of homemade mascara ingredients can be changed. I am giving the amounts that will fit a regular mascara bottle. But if you want to fill two or three bottles, you can double or triple the amounts.
Let’s what you will need for all natural and healthy mascara.
You can also add couple of lavender oil for nice smell.

First, add coconut oil, Shea oil, natural vax, and Jojoba oil in a boiler. Melt all these ingredients.
When these four ingredients melted completely, take the boiler to the side.
Add activated charcoal and Vitamin E capsules into this melted mixture. (If you want to add lavender oil, you can add it with charcoal and Vitamin E.)
Set the boiler aside to cool down all the ingredients.
The ingredients should still have liquid state since you will pour the mixture in your container
Pour all the ingredients into a plastic bag to fill in your container.
Take the plastic bad and make a cut at the edge of the bag to make room for pouring.
Pour the mixture in your mascara tube
Enjoy your homemade and natural mascara.
You can also share your experience with this natural DIY mascara. If you want lighter mascara tones, you may decrease 2 activated carbon capsules to 1. You can keep your mascara at room temperature.
But, remember to mix the mascara with the brush before applying. Since our mascara has no preservatives, try to consume it in short time.
