For this homemade vanilla sugar lip polish recipe, you will just need a few things. First and most important ingredient of the lip scrub is sugar. Sugar will exfoliate the dead skin cells on your lips. I am combining brown and granulated white sugar to double the effects.

Brown sugar has smaller particles. So, it was weaker exfoliating effects compared to white sugar. But if you have sensitive skin, I would recommend using brown sugar only. Adding white sugar in the recipe may irritate your lips. You can replace the amount of white sugar with brown sugar. This is all it takes. Also, I am using Vitamin E which is known for regenerating effects.

Homemade Vanilla Sugar Lip Polish Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of white granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 Vitamin E capsule
  • 1/2 tea spoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 table spoon of honey
  • 2 1/2 table spoons of coconut oil*
*Coconut oil here acts as carrier oil. You can change this one with sweet almond oil. I recommend solid forms instead of olive oil. This way it will be easer to apply homemade vanilla sugar lip polish scrub.
