Some vitamin, mineral, and benefits of yeast mask are as follows:

Vitamin B6: Vitamin B6 will decrease excessive skin dryness and acne. When used regularly, Vitamin B6 in yeast mask prevents dry skin and formation of acne.

Vitamin B2: Vitamin B2, also known as “riboflavin”, helps stimulate skin renewal by triggering new skin cell production. This vitamin is also found in ointments used in the treatment of skin problems such as dermatitis and eczema.

Vitamin B3: Vitamin B3 (niacin) found in the fresh yeast are important vitamins for both hair and skin health. Yeast mask protects against acne formation by providing vitamin B3 needed of the skin and reduced the healing period of existing acne. This vitamin that helps keep the skin moist is among the recommended vitamins to moisten and soften dry skin quickly.

Vitamin B1: With strong antioxidant effect, this vitamin will delay aging and negative effects of the skin. It prevents wrinkles and skin spots.

Folic Acid: Effective antioxidant such as vitamins B1, folic acid improves the appearance of the skin when cleansing bacteria that cause acne. It will smoothen the skin when used regularly.

Potassium: Dry skin and scaling are among the first signs of potassium deficiency. Potassium moisturizes the skin deeply, helping to maintain this moist for a long time. Yeast mask is an ideal facial mask especially for dry skin due to high potassium content.

Regenerating Yogurt Yeast Mask

It is easy to prepare yogurt yeast mask that if ideal for dry and pales skins. Mix half a table spoon of yogurt and half a table spoon of yeast.

Apply this mixture on your face and neck and wait for 30 minutes. You can wash your face with warm water. After drying your face, use moisturising creme.

Nourishing Yeast Mask for Dry Skin

Using all types of yeast mask, and even fresh yeast mask will soften and moisturise skin. But when you skin is dry, you may need stronger mask. You can add honey and milk for stronger yeast mask.

To prepare this mask mix half a table spoon of fresh yeast, 1 table spoon of milk, and 1 tea spoon of honey. Take all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them. Apply on your face and neck by massaging with your finger and wait for 20 minutes. Wash your face with warm water.

If you have oily skin, you may add egg yolk. If you have dry skin, you may add 1-2 tea spoon of olive oil or almond oil 

Yeast Mask for Oily Skin

If your skin is oily and this oil blocks your pores, yeast mask will end this problem. If applied regularly, oil balance of your skin will be achieved, and acne will decrease. This yeast mask will reduce your existing acne.

To prepare the mask mix 1 table spoon of fresh yeast and 10 drops of fresh lemon juice. Apply this mixture as thin layer. Wait for 15 minutes and wash your face with warm water. Wash your face again with cold water. If your face is dry, apply moisturiser.

Since lemon increases sensitivity of skin, you should stay away from sun.

Yeast Mask for Acne

Yeast mask is an effective homemade mask to eliminate acne. You can increase the effect of this mask by using other preventive methods.

For this anti-acne yeast mask, mix 1 table spoon of fresh yeast, 3 drops of tea tree oil, 5 drops of lemon juice, and 2 tea spoons of vinegar. Apply the mixture on your face and wait for 15 minutes. You can wash your face with warm water.

How Often Should You Use Yeast Mask?

If your skin is dry and has acne, you may use the yeast mask for 2 times per week. As your acne decreases, you can use the mask once a week, once in every 10 days. Actually, the frequency depends on your skin. You can determine the ideal period.

Important note about fresh yeast mask. Some people may be allergic for milk, yogurt, egg, and other ingredients.

To test if your such allergy, before applying the mask, use the mask on your hand and wait for 20 minutes. If you don’t experience any irritation or similar problems, you can use the mask.

Benefit of yeast mask comes from Vitamin B complex and minerals. It is important to eat healthy that has these vitamin and minerals.
