Why Should You Make Your Own Aspirin Mask?

In the past, I used to use commercial products. But now, I rarely buy a product from market. I use natural ingredients to make my own skin care and hair care products. Well, you might ask how did all this start? Of course, there is a reason behind it.

One day when I was out there shopping, I noticed one thing. I was constantly reading labels of every product I want to buy. And this was consuming my time. Normally, it would only take 10 minutes to shop. But with all these label reading, my shopping ritual went as high as 2 hours. And I wasn’t even buying some of these products.

When I read the labels, there were tons of harmful chemicals like paraben and other stuff. I don’t want my skin to absorb those chemicals. So, I decided to take a different journey and do my own cosmetics.

Aspirin Face Mask Dangers

In general no. But if you have sensitive skin, you might want to consult to your doctor. However, there are two things I should mention. If you are going to use lemon juice or any essential oil in your aspirin mask, you need to be careful.

First, let’s start with lemon juice. If you are planning to apply lemon juice on your skin, do it at night. You need to avoid sun light for couple of hours. Lemon juice can interact with sun light. And this will cause skin spots. We don’t want to have sun spots while we are trying to whiten our skin, right?

The second thing is about essential oils. Some people might have sensitive skin. And this means, they could be allergic to essential oils. To avoid any undesired reactions, you need to test the essential oil you will in your recipe. Try this essential oil on your arm or hand. If there is no redness or swelling, you are good to go. Otherwise, you should avoid using essential oil.
