I especially love mixing kitchen products to my homemade cosmetic products. Here, I decided to give you my honey and rose homemade hand cream recipe.
Honey is the perfect ingredients to fight against skin problems. When you use honey in your skin care products, this ingredients works like a miracle.
For example, if you skin is prone to acne, honey will clean all the bacteria on your skin. This is because this ingredient has anti-bacterial property.
Also, rose is one of the most popular beauty products. Rose is often used for face toners. Because rose will clean all the excess oil on your skin.
How to Use: Homemade Body Oil
For a smooth skin, you can easily use rose in your daily skin care routine. What is more, rose will help to shrink your pores.
If you have large pores and your skin is prone to acne and black spots, rose water will help eliminating these problems. When rose and honey are combined in one recipe, their effect will double and even triple.
Honey and Rose Homemade Hand Cream Ingredients
- 1/3 cup of Rosewater
- 1/4 tea spoon of Honey
- 1 tea spoon of Sunflower Oil
- 1/4 tea spoon of Shea Butter
- 1/4 tea spoon of Rice Bran oil
- 1/8 tea spoon of Cocoa Butter
- 5 tea spoon of Beeswax
- 20 drops of Vitamin E Oil – or you can use 1 Vitamin E capsule
- 10-20 drops of essential rose (rose geranium, ylang ylang) oil
Honey and Rose Homemade Hand Cream Recipe Preparation

Add cocoa butter, shea butter, beeswax, and rice bran oil in a bowl.

Take a pot and fill the half of the pot with water.

Place the pot on medium heat.

Place the bowl with oils and butter inside the pot.

Melt all the ingredients.

Take away from stove.

Add sunflower oil, vitamin E oil, honey, and rosewater.

Mix all the ingredients.

Add essential rose oil if you are going to use essential oil.

Combine all the ingredients until you obtain a homogenous mixture.

Pour the mixture in a clean container.
This super honey and rose homemade hand cream recipe will moisturise your skin. You can apply the cream on your hands for once or twice a day.
Also, coconut oil which is the base material of the recipe will help to keep the moist under your skin. You can use one of your old cream containers.
Transfer this recipe in that container and carry around wherever you go. This way, you can use your own DIY hand cream when you feel your hands are dry.
Also, you can play with ingredients of this recipe. For example, you can add essential oils to increase the restoring effect of the cream.
Since we have rose water in the recipe, I recommend essential rose oil. This way, your hand cream will smell like rose. And, restoring and cleaning power of rose will increase with the addition of essential oil.
