Add raw shea butter, and coconut oil into a bowl.
Place the bowl in the pot on the stove.
Melt all the ingredients.
Remove the bowl from heat and wait for 30 minutes or until the mixture cools down.
Add sweet almond oil to mixture.
Whip the mixture until you obtain a creamy structure.
Take the mixture in a clean container.
After preparing this coconut oil soap recipe, you can use it as a part of your daily skin care routine. Also, when you are preparing coconut butter, you can make few changes in the recipe.
For example, sometimes I am adding essential oil in this recipe. You can use lavender essential oil or lemon essential oil or any other one you like.
I excluded the essential oil in this recipe since some of you may be allergic to essential oils. If you are allergic to any essential oils, you can easily follow the recipe above. If you decide to add essential oils, you can add it with sweet almond oil.
Also, there are some tricks in this coconut oil soap recipe. You should definitely cool down the mixture before whipping. Otherwise, this mixture will not have creamy look. It will just look like melted butter. For shelf life, you can keep the lotion for couple of months. But, it is always better to keep it in the fridge.
