For those you know me and who follow me, you probably know that DIY is my thing. I love improvising and mixing different ingredients. So, one day when I was eating chocolate, I realised that this delicious food can be an amazing scrub.

And I immediately decided to try my own recipe to make homemade chocolate scrub. For this recipe, you need yummy ingredients. I am suing coconut oil and almond oil for the extra moisturising. Also, I add cocoa power for the extra scrub.

Essential oil in this recipe is option. I know that some people are allergic to essential oil. So, always test it before using in any homemade recipe. If you are not allergic, you can easily use that in your DIY chocolate scrub. Essential oil will make your skin smoother.

DIY Chocolate Scrub Preparation

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup of almond oil
  • 2 tablespoons of natural cocoa powder
  • 1-2 drops of coconut extract or essential oil

Preparation

All you need to do is mix all the ingredients in a cup. Then your DIY chocolate scrub will be ready to use. Those chocolate parts will give the scrub effect you have always wanted.

When you want to use this amazing homemade skin, just rub it on your arms, legs and body. But you need to avoid using this on your face.

This scrub might be too rough for your face. If you want, you can use it as a lip scrub as well. When you use this amazing mixture as lip scrub, your lips will feel softer. After that, you need to wash your skin with warm water.

How to Store Chocolate Scrub?

You can store this amazing recipe at room temperature. But I always recommend preparing small amounts. This way, you can always use fresh product.

If you prepare too much of DIY chocolate scrub, just store it in a clean jar or container. And always keep the mixture away from direct sunlight.
