Let’s what you will need for all natural and healthy mascara.
- 1 table spoon of coconut oil
- 1 table spoon of Shea oil
- 1 and 1/2 table spoon of natural wax
- 2 table spoons of Jojoba
- 2 capsules of activated charcoal (this will give the colour to our mascara)
- 2 drops of Vitamin E oil
You can also add couple of lavender oil for nice smell.
Homemade Mascara Preparation
Preparation of homemade mascara is easy. Your natural mascara will be ready in just 5 minutes.
First, add coconut oil, Shea oil, natural vax, and Jojoba oil in a boiler. Melt all these ingredients.
When these four ingredients melted completely, take the boiler to the side.
Add activated charcoal and Vitamin E capsules into this melted mixture. (If you want to add lavender oil, you can add it with charcoal and Vitamin E.)
Set the boiler aside to cool down all the ingredients.
The ingredients should still have liquid state since you will pour the mixture in your container
Pour all the ingredients into a plastic bag to fill in your container.
Take the plastic bad and make a cut at the edge of the bag to make room for pouring.
Pour the mixture in your mascara tube
Enjoy your homemade and natural mascara.
You can also share your experience with this natural DIY mascara. If you want lighter mascara tones, you may decrease 2 activated carbon capsules to 1. You can keep your mascara at room temperature.
But, remember to mix the mascara with the brush before applying. Since our mascara has no preservatives, try to consume it in short time.
